Class- EQ8 Design Custom Layout

Description

The “EQ8 Custom Layout – outside the box” class, concentrates on quilt layout.  Whether you want to, for instance combine odd sized widow blocks into a quilt, or create a masterpiece with a difference, this class will give you the confidence and know how to combine your blocks of different size into a pleasant medley as well as the use of borders in the design process.  In conclusion, you will learn to plan construction in advance and easily print out patterns of the inlay pieces.

Danél combines her three decades of IT skills with a skill and love for quilts and design in this class.

“EQ8 Custom Layout – outside the box” is a 3 hour class.  Classes accommodate up to 5 students at a time at 40 on Ilkey B&B, in Pretoria, South Africa.  Make contact if you want Danél to travel to you or if you want to book a special class.

Finally, for this class you need:

• Your own laptop (Windows 8 or higher)
• All the cables including a power adapter.
• An external  mouse – keypads are not designed to design quilts.
• Above all, a keen spirit to learn and a head full of ideas.

It is advised to take the “EQ8 quilt design software in a nutshell” and/or the “Design and Draft your own blocks in EQ8” class before enrolling for the “EQ8 Custom Layout – outside the box” class, therefore giving you an excellent foundation to build on.
