EQ8 has full drawing capabilities to create any kind of block. Draft your block from scratch, use the built-in grids or import a photo or sketch to trace.
The Block Library is full of over 6,700 pre-drawn designs ready for you to use in your quilt designs. Use these blocks as they are, or edit them to add your own touch. Use existing blocks to create completely new ones with the Serendipity feature!

“Design and Draft your own blocks in EQ8” is a 3 hour hands-on class. Classes accommodate up to 5 students at a time at 40 on Ilkey B&B, in Pretoria, South Africa. Make contact if you want Danél to travel to you or if you want to book a special class.
Finally, for this class you need:
- Your own laptop (Windows 8 or higher)
- All the cables including a power adapter.
- An external mouse – keypads are not designed to design quilts.
- Above all, a keen spirit to learn and a head full of ideas.
