Danél Marie Muller started quilting in 2006. The 2007 SAQG Alberton Quilt Festival convinced her that she found her art medium in textile! Incorporating her background in IT, art and music, she brings design and quilting alive, inspiring and motivating as she goes.
In 2011 her quilt “Landscape: a Colourful Palette” was exhibited at the Alette Wessels Kunskamer in Pretoria, South Africa as part of the solo exhibition by Pieter Janse van Rensburg. The art quilts by Danél have since been exhibited at the Pretoria Art Museum, Centurion Art Gallery and Pink House Gallery and travelled with the SAQG Travelling Exhibition and IQCSA.
Danél Marie Muller is accredited as teacher through SAQG. She teaches on a wide variety of quilting subjects including basic quilt techniques and techniques in art quilting.
She is teaching from her home at 40 on Ilkey B&B.

Our family is like a patchwork quilt, with kindness gently sewn,
each piece is an original,
with beauty of it’s own,
With threads of warmth and happiness,
It’s tightly stitched together,
To last in love throughout the years
Our family is forever
