Welcome to the Lenad Quilting website (“the Website”). By accessing, browsing or purchasing products from this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this Website.

Throughout these Terms, “Lenad Quilting”, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to Lenad Quilting and its owner, Danél Muller.

1. Website Use

By using this Website, you agree that you:

Product descriptions

All intellectual property remains the exclusive property of Danél Muller trading as Lenad Quilting and is protected under:

the Copyright Act 98 of 1978 (South Africa);
applicable international copyright treaties; and
all other applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, translated, stored electronically, distributed, uploaded, transmitted or published without prior written permission.

3. Quilt Pattern License

When you purchase a Lenad Quilting pattern, you are purchasing a licence to use the pattern, not ownership of the copyright.

You may:

✔ Make quilts for your own personal use.

✔ Make quilts as gifts.

✔ Use the pattern for educational purposes with written permission.

You may not:

copy or reproduce the pattern;
scan or photograph the pattern for distribution;
upload the pattern to websites, cloud storage or social media;
email or share digital copies;
photocopy the pattern for friends, guilds or classes;
alter the pattern and claim it as your own;
sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the pattern;
convert the pattern into another digital format for resale;
reproduce the pattern using Artificial Intelligence (AI) or automated systems for redistribution.

Each purchaser must obtain their own legal copy.

4. Illegal Resale of Patterns

The unauthorised resale, sharing or distribution of Lenad Quilting patterns in any format is strictly prohibited.

This includes:

Facebook groups
WhatsApp groups
Telegram
Google Drive
Dropbox
Email forwarding
Marketplaces
Auction websites
File-sharing websites

Unauthorised distribution constitutes copyright infringement.

Lenad Quilting reserves the right to:

issue cease-and-desist notices;
suspend customer accounts;
refuse future sales;
claim damages where appropriate; and
pursue civil remedies available under South African law.

5. Finished Quilts Made from Our Patterns

You are welcome to sell finished quilts made using Lenad Quilting patterns on a small-scale, handmade basis, provided that:

the quilts are personally made by you;
the quilts are not mass-produced;
you acknowledge the design by stating:

Pattern designed by Lenad Quilting.

You may not sell the pattern itself.

6. Digital Products

Digital products include:

PDF patterns
eBooks
Downloadable templates
Digital teaching resources

Due to their nature, digital products cannot be returned once downloaded or accessed.

Please read all product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

7. Workshops and Classes

Workshop bookings are subject to availability.

Cancellation and refund policies are published separately on our Refund & Returns page.

Lenad Quilting reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes where necessary.

8. Pricing

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without prior notice.

Pricing errors may occasionally occur. Where an obvious pricing error has occurred, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payments made.

9. Payments

Payments are processed using secure third-party payment providers.

Lenad Quilting does not store customers’ payment card information.

10. Shipping

Delivery times are estimates only.

Lenad Quilting cannot be held responsible for delays caused by:

courier companies;
customs authorities;
strikes;
natural disasters;
circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Limitation of Liability

Every effort has been made to ensure that our patterns, books and tutorials are accurate.

However, Lenad Quilting cannot guarantee individual quilting results, as outcomes depend upon the user’s experience, equipment and materials.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lenad Quilting shall not be liable for:

indirect damages;
consequential losses;
loss of profits;
damage arising from misuse of products or patterns.

12. Privacy

Personal information is collected only for the purposes of processing orders, communicating with customers and improving our services.

We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013.

13. Consumer Protection

Nothing contained in these Terms limits any rights afforded to consumers under the:

Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (Act 68 of 2008);
Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002;
Copyright Act, 1978; or
any other applicable South African legislation.

Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with mandatory consumer protection legislation, the applicable legislation shall prevail.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

15. Changes to these Terms

Lenad Quilting reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will be published on this Website with the revised effective date.
