Modern Burst changes the pattern for Delectable Mountain or Crazy Mountain into a 6″ x 6″ block.  Where the Mountain patterns has always left you with a rectangular shape,  the final shape of the Modern Burst block is square.

Modern Bust can be used with other quilt techniques in a traditional or modern setting with great success.  The pattern shows an easy and quick way to sew this block pattern.
