This introductory classes for beginner quilters are taught over 10 classes, one every second week. Contact me to find out when the next class is starting. In this sampler quilt, you will learn all the basic quilting principles and find out which ones you like or not. This course is about getting a broader perspective on a smaller scale. The blocks combine in a pleasing matter as usable table runner or it can also be adapted as a foot throw for a bed.
The classes are presented at 40 Ilkey Road, Lynnwood Glen Estate, Pretoria, 0081.
Classes include instruction on the finer details of cutting, sewing by hand and by machine, using paper foundation piecing, how to sew curves, the do’s and don’ts of appliqué by hand and machine, how to size the blocks, how to add sashing and borders and how to quilt and bind.

The price is R150 per class and will be taught over 10 classes. Buying this product is for the first class and registration purposes. Classes start at 9:00 and ends at 12:30. Coffee and tea will be supplied.
The price doesn’t include fabric, thread or any sewing notions. All patterns will be supplied. The quilt can be made in any color scheme.
